Building materials and construction solutions engineered for the infrastructure of tomorrow.
SCROLL TO TRAVEL
Founded in Mumbai in 1964, Tiki Tar began with a small bitumen manufacturing plant.
Six decades later it is a construction-solutions group serving the Indian subcontinent and international markets, with six manufacturing plants and a portfolio of 150 products. The vision hasn't changed: to be the most reliable, competitive and innovative company in the construction industry.
A highway is a stack of engineered layers: subgrade, granular base, binder course and surface course, held together by bitumen. The binder is what turns loose aggregate into a road that carries load for years.
Tiki Tar and Shell India bring more than 100 years of combined knowledge and reliability to bitumen for roads, runways and racetracks.
A manufacturing and supply network across India, reaching the Middle East, Asia and other international markets.
TIKIDAN is the construction-solutions platform formed by Tiki Tar and Danosa, bringing together local market expertise and Danosa's materials-science expertise.
Foundation to roof: waterproofing, thermal and acoustic insulation, drainage, flooring, joints and sealants working as one envelope.
Adhesives, sealants, coatings, mastics, vapour barriers and weather barriers for hot, cold/cryogenic and HVAC insulation.
Tiki Tar's R&D describes coating-based products designed to operate across extreme temperature ranges, verified in specialised testing facilities.
CHAMBER / CRYOGENIC
Moisture, oxygen and chemicals attack exposed steel. A protective coating forms a continuous barrier across the surface so corrosion stops and water runs off.
Structures expand, contract and shift. Flexible sealants keep the joint closed and weather-tight as the gap opens and closes; adhesives bond the layers that insulation and waterproofing depend on.
Formulated grades of bitumen for waterproofing, roofing, insulation and corrosion protection, each tuned for how it flows, sets and performs.

Research and development drives the creation of next-generation materials and construction solutions.
Tiki Tar's R&D centres focus on innovative products, solutions, services and advanced manufacturing processes, testing materials for temperature, stress, moisture, durability, adhesion and thermal performance.
Tiki Tar's sustainability agenda covers climate change, resource use, energy, the circular economy, biofuel and community initiatives, with a target of reducing its carbon footprint toward Goal Zero by 2030.

MATERIAL / BITUMEN
Tiki Tar Group manufactures and supplies bitumen and construction solutions. Its portfolio of around 150 products covers road products for highways, airports and racetracks; building materials through TIKIDAN (waterproofing, thermal and acoustic insulation, drainage and landscape, flooring, joints and sealants); insulation chemicals through Tiki Insulation; protective and anti-corrosive coatings; sealants and adhesives; and speciality bitumen.
Tiki Tar is known as one of India's established bitumen manufacturers and suppliers. It was founded in Mumbai in 1964 with a small bitumen manufacturing plant and has grown into a construction-solutions group serving the Indian subcontinent and international markets.
Tiki Tar supplies road bitumen for roads and highways, airports and runways, and racetracks through the Tiki Tar and Shell India partnership, which brings more than 100 years of combined knowledge. It also offers speciality bitumen formulated for waterproofing, roofing, insulation and corrosion protection.
Tiki Tar serves roads and highways, airports, buildings and projects, and refineries and factories. Its materials are also used in bridges, metros, tunnels, data centres, oil and gas facilities, hotels and racetracks.
Tiki Tar's road products business, run with Shell India, supplies bitumen for highways, airport runways and racetracks. Tiki Tar handles around 250,000 tons of bitumen a year and its materials have paved around 300,000 km.
TIKIDAN is the construction-solutions platform formed by Tiki Tar and Danosa. It combines Tiki Tar's local market expertise with Danosa's materials-science expertise across six systems: waterproofing, acoustic insulation, drainage and landscape, thermal insulation, flooring, and joints and sealants.
Tiki Insulation is Tiki Tar's insulation-chemicals business. It provides solutions for hot insulation, cold and cryogenic insulation, and HVAC insulation, including adhesives, sealants, coatings, mastics, vapour barriers and weather barriers.
Mechanical insulation chemicals are the products used with insulation on pipes, ducts, tanks and equipment: adhesives that bond insulation, sealants and mastics that close joints, coatings that protect the surface, and vapour and weather barriers that keep moisture out so the insulation keeps performing.
Protective and anti-corrosive coatings form a continuous barrier on steel and other structural surfaces that shields them from moisture, oxygen and chemical exposure, slowing or stopping corrosion. Tiki Tar's R&D describes coating-based products designed to operate across extreme temperature ranges.
Speciality bitumen products are bitumen grades formulated for specific applications beyond paving. Tiki Tar's speciality bitumen is used for waterproofing, roofing, insulation and corrosion protection.
Through TIKIDAN, Tiki Tar provides waterproofing, acoustic insulation, drainage and landscape systems, thermal insulation, flooring, and joints and sealants. Tiki Tar materials have served more than 1,500 building projects.
Tiki Tar is headquartered in Mumbai, India. It operates 6 manufacturing plants and 13 sales network locations and serves 15 countries across the Indian subcontinent, the Middle East, Asia and other international markets.

Tiki Tar's sustainability agenda covers climate change, resource use, energy, the circular economy, biofuel and community initiatives, with a target of reducing its carbon footprint toward Goal Zero by 2030.
Goal Zero 2030 is Tiki Tar's stated target for reducing its carbon footprint by 2030, supported by initiatives across energy, resource use, the circular economy and biofuel.
Chemists, engineers, plant teams, technical sales and site specialists: the work of turning material into infrastructure is done by people who take ownership of it.
